Pocket Weather Meters announces its participation in the 2006
NHRA’s “Be
A Winner, Be A Member” program. It was developed to support
and promote grassroots racers and companies who are NHRA members,
and any NHRA member racer who wins a weekly event at a member track
is eligible to enter. Sponsors award monthly prizes to winners
in one of seven divisions, and Kestrel will be donating their premier
product, the Kestrel 4000 Pocket Weather Tracker for winners.
A complete hand-held weather station, the Kestrel 4000 measures
every environmental condition: density altitude, humidity, temperature,
barometric pressure, wind speed, heat stress index, dewpoint temperature,
altitude, wind chill and wet bulb temperature. Portable and accurate,
the Kestrel 4000 gives drivers and mechanics relevant data so they
can use software or their judgment to dial in their cars.
In addition to being the only complete pocket-sized weather station
available, features that make the Kestrel 4000 especially suitable
