Hunting Dogs

Environmental conditions for hunting dogs can be extreme. When temperatures drop to single digits while swimming for ducks or rise to hot double digits during bird season, it’s important to take proper precautions to make sure dogs are properly acclimated. Monitor the exact conditions of hunting dogs by attaching a DROP to a dog’s collar. Then asses the critical risk factors to prevent cold weather issues, such as hypothermia, and hot weather conditions, such as heat exhaustion, heat stroke and dehydration.
